French civil society organisations have published a report evaluating the first year of implementation of the French law on duty of vigilance. The document concludes that the first vigilance plans published by companies are not respecting the requirements of the law, and calls out the government to control the implementation of this landmark piece of legislation.

The report Law on duty of vigilance of parent and outsourcing companies - Year 1 : companies must do better was originally published in French by  Amnesty International France, Amis de la Terre/Friends of the Earth France, ActionAid France - Peuples Solidaires, CCFD-Terre Solidaire, collectif Ethique sur l'étiquette and Sherpa and can only be accessed in English here
